The natural-finish wooden posts and beams are kept wrapped in plastic for protection.  This shows the staging of beams, with installed ones in the background.  The children’s area is to the rear, and the adult non-fiction to the right.

Crawl space, showing electrical conduits, air ducting, and water piping.  Installation  has been underway for some time, in parallel with finishing of the structural concrete and the installation of posts and beams on the main floor.

Standing at Front Entry area looking at crawlspace below Lobby (foreground) and Program Space (to the left). Steel beams and temporary shoring beams are for supporting the steel Comflor pans which you see in the left foreground.

Standing at Front Entry area looking towards the circulation desk area (the steel beam in the middle). Steel beams and temporary shoring beams have been placed for supporting the Comflor. The Comflor has already been installed in the Book Drop area at the middle right.

Standing on the formwork for the suspended concrete slab over the parking area. Looking NE.

Standing at The steel Comflor pans are being installed. Rebar will be placed in the flutes of the pans and they will be filled with concrete for the main floor. The blue scaffolding to the left is in the Mechanical Room.
